All that is happening now is not by chance, it is a test of character. It is purposeful to expose the pieces that keep us from reaching our full potential and show us what to fix before we venture into a fresh start of ideas and vision.
On December 21, 2020, Saturn meets Jupiter at 0 degrees Aquarius. This is the closest conjunction since 1623 and it marks a change in tone from Earth to Air. From the industrial age to the information age, from control of the earth to a focus on ideology, ideas, possibilities. Aquarius is humanitarian, aloof, rebellious, awakening, a place where impossible isn’t a consideration.

Comets often accompany conjunctions and beautiful Comet NEOWISE did not disappoint. This comet has a long orbit bringing energy from very far away and hasn’t been by earth for about 6,500 years. At her last visit the pyramids were being built. Comets portend a time of great change and are often seen as ominous predictors. However, I remain hopeful that this comet is a harbinger of “New Wisdom” , like its name. Its golden and magenta tail offers us information and courage for a golden age where we operate from our heart center. It appeared on the Cancer / Leo axis, highlighting sensitivity, nurturing, and lion-hearted courage and leadership, creativity and action. The positive attributes of Leo are charisma, leadership, creativity, loyalty, and heart. The negative are tyranny, bullying, and mistakes made because of excessive pride and arrogance. It’s appearance warns of excessive heat, anger, tempers, even fevers….it’s time to cool down, it tells us to focus on the positive attributes of Cancer and Leo: kindness, building strong family foundations, leadership, creative and expressive energy, generosity.
